As expected, Randy Lerner has fired Browns head coach Romeo Crennel today after a miserable 4-12 season. It really came as no surprise. Something had to be done.
Say what you will about having to start all over yet again, but Romeo lost his job after the second loss to the Ravens when he admitted he didn't know how to do his job by saying he "doesn't know how to get the most out of his players."
That's what a head coach is supposed to know how to do, Romeo. And that's why you're no longer a head coach in the NFL. Remember that if another team gives you a chance to be a head coach in this league.
Good luck, Mr. Crennel. You're a nice guy ... you're simply not a head coach.
