Say it Ain't So ...

I cannot emphasize enough how much I truly hope this isn't true: Broncosfreaks.com is reporting a rumor that the Browns are talking to the Broncos about trading Brady Quinn and Shaun Rogers for Jay Cutler and the Broncos 3rd round draft pick.

Again, I truly hope this is not true. I'm already less than thrilled with some of the moves Mangini and Kokinis have made. If there is any validity to this rumor whatsoever, they're really trying to run this franchise further into the ground.

Chances are, there is no validity to this rumor and the folks over at broncosfreaks.com are simply throwing together fantasy trades to give themselves hope (like me reporting that I heard the Steelers were thinking of trading Troy Polamalu to the Browns for Ryan Pontbriand).

Seriously, though, these two clowns in charge of the Browns are making it really hard for me to give them the benefit of the doubt.

  1. If this rumor is true I am going to be upset. All I want is a winning team and these Bozo's can't seem to do it. I don't know what team I should switch to? I can't take the pain much longer!!!

  2. Why haven't the Browns made a move in free agency? I saw today they may sign a couple of backups from the Jets. This reminds me of when Butch Davis and Garcia tried to sign players they recruited to Miami. Ben Gay was going to save our team. Didn't happen then with Gay and it won't happen now with some backups.

  3. The problem with Botch is he wasn't smart enough to draft the players he recruited to Miami. We could have had Ed Reed, Portis and Shockey and instead he takes William Green, Jeff Faine and Quincy Morgan. I always knew Botch was a horrible gameday coach but I thought he would at least upgrade the talent. He failed miserably at that too.
