Unused Tickets? Give 'em to a Child

I received a note from a friend of mine who runs the Cleveland Foodie blog asking me to help her promote a good cause. Of course, I couldn't resist ... I'm all about good causes (and lost causes too, in the case of the Browns).

Most Valuable Kids (MVK) is an organization that gives children in the Cleveland area a chance to see a sporting event, concert or play — children who might not normally have this chance. MVK does this by offering children's organizations access to professional and collegiate sports and entertainment events through an online ticket donation and reward system.

How many times are you, or someone you know, unable to attend a Browns game (or other Cleveland sporting event) at the last minute? Instead of letting those tickets go to waste, you can simply donate them to MVK.

MVK gives these donated tickets under-privileged children, providing them an opportunity to witness a Brady Quinn touchdown pass, a LeBron James slam dunk or even a Travis Hafner home run.

Please keep this organization in mind the next time you find yourself in a situation where you have tickets you simply cannot use.

Training Camp Creeping Closer

We're less than a month away from the official start of Training Camp. Are you getting excited yet? I sure am. The start of Training Camp, to me, marks the official start of the season.

Optimism is in the air all around Browns Town at the start of Training Camp. Fans are anxious to get their first real glimpse of the team.

And, as the action gets underway in Berea, the activity In the Blawg Pound will also increase. I'm looking forward to continuing to blog about the Cleveland Browns this season ... and it all starts with Training Camp.

What will be in store for the Cleveland Browns this year? It all starts at Training Camp. I can't wait.

Go Browns!
