That is right on target, because they lost the chance at an excellent candidate today according to ESPN - Tom Heckert, the GM of the Eagles. Not only is he a Fraternity brother of mine and yours, but he has a connection to Ohio. <BR/><BR/>The other thing you write though, that Mangini had a failed first stint, is wrong in my opinion... He took the Jets to the playoffs in his first season, had a very disappointing second season, and had them back on the brink of the playoffs this season even with Favre leading the league in interceptions... <BR/><BR/>I guess my question is: how can we be bashing a guy who has taken a team to the playoffs when the Browns have yet to be in the playoffs since their return to the league? We've had awful coaches with NO NFL head coaching experience. Now we're supposed to get excited over Mangini cause he was an NFL head coach? He was 23-25 as a head coach!! He's a loser of a coach. <BR/><BR/>This guy stands no chance of turning this team around and we'll be looking for another coach in 3 years guaranteed. I hope I'm wrong and I'll admit I loved Crennel when we got him and he was a flop so I'm hoping Mangini proves me wrong.<BR/><BR/>Lerners abilities as an owner have to be in question.
